Security Guards
Well...once upon a time I was invited over to Lena's apartment for her roommate Michelle's b-day party which was to consist of decorating cupcakes and hanging out with some pretty awesome people. So after all the cup-cake baking and packing about 15-20 people into Lena's living room it began to get a bit warm so we left their door open. Somewhere around the 11ish hour a female security guard shows up at the door to tell us we either need to close the door or make less noise because she could hear us from really far away. Telling us that we have neighbors who we need to RESPECT. We were all rather amused by this and just kinda of laughed as she walked away, she was not very happy about this. She comes back to the door and says "you do have neighbors and you do need to respect them. So we showed our neighbors respect by inviting all of them to come enjoy cupcakes with us, which most of them did. Now I know this is a funny story but also it irritated me a little bit because the security guard came to the front door of Lena's apartment to tell us to be quiet at 11 pm on a thursday night but one night I was trying to sleep at Ashley's apartment and there was an EXTREMELY loud party going on where one could only imagine what was going on and there was nothing done about it? hmmmmmmmmmmmm interesting....any thoughts?

It is official
So for those of you who have been dying to know...Marie finally has made some fairly definite plans for thus summer. Yes Ashley, I have finally narrowed down my 10 page list of options for the summer. Well to be more exact God has narrowed down my list and closed a lot of doors. The only door left open and definitely not my first choice but I think one that will end up being a good one, is I will be spending my summer in pigeon forge this summer as a team leader for the STP. Yes, Mr. Free I will come and help you represent Clemson well! So that is all, there isn't anymore :)

A Test
Today, I got back one of the four tests that I took last week. It was by far the hardest test that I took last week and one of the hardest tests I have ever taken at Clemson apart from Accounting 202. As my professor put the grade distribution on the board, it was evident that about half the class had received a D or lower. This obviously is not a good distribution. He very casually begins talking about how, yes the first test is always hard. Most all of the multiple choice I put on the test are really hard and I don't expect you to get a lot of them right. He claims that he likes to use tests to find what we are having difficulty with in the course. WHAT?!? Aren't tests suppose to test the knowledge that you gain from the course, so you can prove what it is you do know? I believe the professor should give some type of quiz or something before the test to find out what we are struggling with. I think it is entirely unfair to make a test AS DIFFICULT as possible just to see how difficult the material is for your students. This is a service marketing class and there is no reason it needs to be this difficult. This is mostly to vent my frustration but also to pose the following question...
What is the purpose of a test? Should it test the knowledge you have learned? Should it try to find out what you didn't learn? Should it help you apply what you learned? Or some combination? or none of the above?

Then trousdell decides to tell me how much he dislikes me and then continue to tell me about a joke someone played on him except that it was a cruel joke. poor trousdell. yay! Rogers finally came to tutor while I was at work. double yay! i got a cookie out of the coffee can that is always out of cookies. Trousdell just put a stapler on my computer. I was just informed it is going to be cold on saturday. boo! Ok so here is my thought for the day since the people at Vickery do not like me to talk to you.....
